Food Choices
We follow the Eat Better Start Better Guidelines to ensure that children are provided with meals, snacks and drinks that are healthy balanced and nutritious. Meals are prepared using fresh ingredients by our nursery cook in a new and modern kitchen.
Food is the way to everyone’s heart so we try to keep things varied and nutritional. To keep things fun and interesting, we have themed menus for Easter, Bonfire night, Halloween, Christmas and other celebrations.
Below are examples of lunches and teas taken from our four weekly menus. Our menus are regularly reviewed to reflect the change in seasons and the needs of the children. All dietary needs and requirements are fully catered for.
Morning Snacks- selection of fruits such as melon, apple, banana, grapes, orange, pineapple etc.
Afternoon Snacks- homemade scones, cheese straws, teacakes and shortbread etc.
